In-Person Sessions available from 20th July 2020, or choose Telephone, or Online Counselling (Video or Email) - please select service when booking your session.
This FREE 30 minute Introduction Session is a chance for you to talk with me, find out more about the counselling and how I work, and see whether you think I'm someone you'll feel comfortable talking to.
I'll do my best to answer any questions you might have and we'll talk briefly about your reasons for seeking counselling and what you want to get out of it.
There's absolutely no pressure on you to make any decisions, or any obligation to take things any further if you don't want to.
If you're feeling aprehensive about talking to a counsellor, or you're not sure if counselling is for you, then I hope you'll take advantage of this opportunity to "dip your toe in" and see how it feels!
Due to the current government "lockdown", I am no longer able to offer face-to-face sessions at my place of work, but I have expanded my Online Counselling services, to include Video, Audio-only, Live Chat and Email Counselling.
Online Counselling has been shown in studies to be as effective as face-to-face counselling and has many advantages. For example, you can access counselling from the comfort of your own home, you can decide whether you want to speak or to use text or email, and, if you want to, you can remain anonymous. In the technological world we live in many of us are more comfortable communicating via messaging and email than over the phone or face-t0-face, so many people who might feel too apprehensive about attending counselling can access the help and support they need in ways they feel more comfortable with.
